In this wonderful state of New Jersey, walking is a rare thing as people drive a block to the fast food restaurant, to pick up their happy meal. So as I work on this major route in the Garden state, I wonder where are all these people walking to, they have been coming and going in front of the store.
Perhaps they are changing shifts at the gas stations, working the overnight in one, and then doing the morning shift down the road.
One day the road will be Gogolen free. |

Jack Bauer charged with D.U.I., how could someone who makes ten million dollars a year, not hire a driver for the night. He posted $25,000 bail, I am sure the cab would have come in under $25,000. |

Well after two years I got a comment on one of my postings. Even better that it was by an amazing woman. The past few weeks have been very busy, trips to Chicago and Boston, and back to Boston again. Music wise I feel as I am in a bit of a hangover after the last two months. Mostly the fault of Mr Dulli, whose music I rediscovered, and had the pleasure of seeing a few times live. On top of seeing Paul Weller play the Jam in Ny, the Stones and the Who in small venues. I have no complaints.
Sport wise, my baseball team won their first league title in 11 years in the Met League. I have had a great run following Chelsea this past season, even meeting Porto Girl at Nevada Smiths in NY. The Rangers took me on a great ride and saw many great games at the Garden this past season.
Work has been as it has for the past seven years, nothing short of bizarre. I would provide more details but I swear there is a sitcom that needs to be wrote about this place. People have a hard time believing the stories as they are dying laughing at the antics of this small store in New Jersey.
As for myself I tend to park a bit more at myspace than here, but I sense that changing. Gearing up for a trip to Baltimore for the Preakness next week. Hopefully my picks will be better than my derby selections.
As for a quick recap of my recent trips..Chicago...Wrigley what can you say, you have to watch a game from the Bleachers, very friendly people. I can say that make sure you stop by Coyote Ugly, never remember a slow night ending so well.
Boston was a bit of a downer, first time the game was rained out, drove back up a view weeks later. Staying at the same Hotel on the Charles. Eating lunch a bird flew full speed into the window, landed on the table raised his head then passed away. It was a bit depressing, and painful to watch.
Boston Billard's....trust me you have to check this place out.
As far as Fenway, it made me proud to be a Yankee fan. Never have I seen a group of people not be able to handle their beer and behave. And when your big argument for defending the honor of Boston, is that you have Papa Gino's Pizza! Please just put a gag in your mouth and spare us from that drunken accent :) |

This weather has everyone on edge. Every customer becomes your worst enemy untill you get them out of the store. Real Estate prices are going crazy here, I wonder how much longer I can afford to live here. I am going to miss that five mintue comute to work.
My baseball team won again last night, though it took me two hours to get home, with no a/c in the car. Killing myself was considered LOL
One of the co-workers come in an hour and a half late, bearing gifts of Dunkin donut coffee.....mmmmm cofeee |

My team went down to defeat once again last night, losing really sucks. After the game drinks till midnight and back at work this morning at 7. This is going to be a long day. Work is still weird, as we are still recovering from the tractor trailer that plowed through the building last week. The sound of brakes on the highway has us all a bit jumpy. So I think I need a long vacation... |

I run a semi pro baseball team in new jersey. For a very good team we are playing like the bad news bears. So here I am at work, feeling very tried after back to back games. Because of the accident last week at the store, I am forced to look at a temporary wall with no daylight. I think it is draining my energy.
I have found a lot of cool people on Live Journal, most based in England it seems. Which is cool, almost forgot that I am half english, though I was born in nyc.
Now all I need to find is that pin up fetish model for a girlfriend LOL,
thank god I am single right now, don't have to worry about getting caught looking at these amazing websites I have found LOL
If anyone has the winning Lotto number please forward, I shall give you 20 percent of the winnings :) |

The temp is supposed to hit 95 today, I hate this type of weather. The baseball team I coach played untill 12 30 am. We came back after losing the 4-0 to tie the game. Then the other team's manager lost control got ejected, refused to leave the field, so we were awarded the victory. Not what we wanted but we were all very tired.
Very happy to hear that Social Distortin is coming back to nyc in october. Besides that very slow summer, I gotta find some new friends LOL |

| Breaking the Ice |

My first post on live journal, one that I doubt anyone will ever read. Stuck at work on a sunny saturday. We are still trying to recover from the truck running through the store last week. So instead of the wonderful view of cars speeding up the highway, I get to stare at a wood wall all day. Yes it is driving me a bit insane LOL.
I have met some really cool people on line and I guess this is just another stage, but I am enjoying the journey.
A little about myself I live outside of NYC, and I guess I always had a bit of that ny swagger lol, however I am seeing that the world as many cool places besides nyc. Though I do love Montreal also.
One of the things that has attracted me to search these postings is to find out that were so many people who enjoyed cool music etc etc.
Well I am sure this is getting quite boring right now, drop me aline say hello if you happen to stumble on this.
